“A beautiful, traditional hotel with excellent, friendly staff who go the extra mile to help. We had a lovely sea view large bedroom with a balcony. The food was excellent with a good choice for room service too. Stunning views from hotel across Torbay. We will definitely be returning.”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was lovely with the sea views and the gardens in front. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Unfortunately the standard of cleanliness in my room was poor. It showed a lack of attention to detail: marks on the bedroom walls and bathroom door that would easily wipe off, the tap had something stuck on it when I arrived (again, easily removed), the lip of the bath panel clearly hadn't seen a cloth in some time, and the grout on the tiles could do...

“The requested room was an ensuite, it had a toilet and bath , no shower which might be problematic for some. The room didn't have a fan which meant I had to have the windows open all night which was noisy. I paid for a basic room and that's what I got.”
