"The hotel has a great location right in town and the bathroom was modern and well presented. We also appreciated the character of the building and having convenient parking available.
However, the room itself felt quite run down and was much smaller than expected. The bed was advertised as a queen but was definitely closer to a double, and unfortunately wasn’t very comfortable. Being located right on the main street also meant it was quite noisy early in the morning.
Check-in took a long time as there appeared to be only one staff member managing the entire pub, which made the process a bit frustrating after travelling.
Overall, it was okay for a short stay mainly because of the location and character, but there are definitely areas that could be improved."
