“The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. This is our second time staying there and when we’re in the area we will stay again. Highly recommend.”

“Rooms are super damp! The pillows are wet! The rug is wet! Everything is moist! My clothes got all damp!”

“Very clean and convenient to downtown”

“It’s an older hotel, I’m sure soon to be renovated. Bathroom fixtures, sinks, shower/tub are dated but all very clean. Staff was super helpful and it’s of course right on the beach with 2 pools so the location is perfect. The VALUE is terrific.”

“Clean property. Room was spacious and extremely clean. Quiet property. Tommy and his wife were amazing hosts. Restaurants and shops within walking distance or a 3 min. drive. Beach is 5 minutes by car. Property is pet friendly.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Salty Mermaid! The location was great, especially being so close to the beach. The room was comfortable and clean, and the property had a nice, relaxed beach atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. We also loved being able to walk around and enjoy everything New Smyrna Beach has to offer. Overall, it was a very enjoyable getaway, and we would definitely consider staying here again!”

“Great experience”

“I stayed here one night with my kids on our way to Key West. We got in so late and were so tired from driving. This hotel was right off the interstate and was absolutely the perfect “oasis”. I’ll be coming back on my way south on future trips.”

“Nice place, close to where we needed to be.”

“The property has a great view, however the hotel has a broken elevator for 3 days, so only had one elevator. Every time I left it took 10 minutes before I could get an elevator. Breakfast was great. View amazing.”
