The property was ideal for what we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, however, there were a lot of ants in the bathroom which made us feel quite uncomfortable..
A great place to stay if you need to be in walking distance of Townsville CBD, but far enough to be very quiet at night. Also dark at night with the windows facing away from the lights of the car park. A good setup. And fantastic views as the name suggests.
I had contacted staff 3 times to let them know that I would require the late check in details. The last time being 3pm on day of arrival. I was informed that I would receive an SMS detailing the late check in procedure for my room key. Suffice to say when I arrived at 7.20pm still no SMS rang the mobile number to be informed that they had not sent it and it was sent almost immediately informing me which lock box it was in and the combination. Pity the instructions on how to actually use the said lock box were not included. Luckily another guest could help me out so not very many thanks for the staff unfortunately. The room though dated was clean functional and in good repair.

It is in a nice quiet location that is in easy walking distance to town. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely view of Magnetic Island from the dining room balcony.
Very well run place, friendly, helpful management and staff. The views are great, you can truly actually see Magnetic Island. I have already booked for another stay later this month.
This place is very well priced, and in a great location. It’s relatively close to the strand and all of the eateries/beach, and it’s also not far to the castle hill access road. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, and have made our stay so easy. And the view is spectacular!
