“The best part was the night time view from our window. And now the reality of actually staying there, Arctic Mary Rooms "Hotel". 1. Nice front door, with a pile of junk ceiling high at the side. 2. Needed a torch to operate key code pad outside, making a loud noise with every touch. 3. Boots strewn all over the hallway causing me to trip when entering. 4. Misdescribed Superior Room, no mention of shared bathroom and toilet. 5. Only one thin pillow each, contacted the manager (he had emailed...

“Absolutely go on the Northern Lights tour! Espin who is the head guide grew up and still lives just outside Tromso is an excellent and friendly gentleman who knows just where to go. Give yourself at least 4 days to help insure the chance to see the Lights. Espin takes pictures during the trip and you can access them on his website. Also, hot drinks and snacks are provided as are thermal cover alls and at least 1 bathroom stop. You simply cannot go wrong on this Adventure trip, so don’t miss...

“At checkout, they kept insisting I hadn't paid and demanded payment again; it was only after I went to the trouble of finding and showing the payment confirmation email from my card company that they finally acknowledged the transaction. Despite the inconvenience—such as being unable to check out for an extended period—they didn't offer a single word of apology, making the whole experience rude and absurd.”
