“I feel like I was catfished. When we first got there, the first disappointment was the parking. I have never seen such tight parking spots before. We arrived later in the day, and I had to climb over to the passengers seat to squeeze out of that door. The pictures gave me a different expectation than what we found. It's a repainted old, run down motel room. The bathroom had a sliding door with a large gap, which didn't afford the person in the bathroom much privacy. The bathroom was tiny. The...

“We enjoyed our stay and the rooms were clean. The only hiccup was I didn't really care for the shower only, overall a decent place to lay your head.”

“The hotel was great. It was right on the beach as advertised. Also saved us $40 a day parking at the local lots around the area. We paid extra for the beach view and it was beautiful. Short 5 minute walk to the beach from our room and they had outdoor showers on the street behind the beach. We also liked that several restaurants, ice cream shop and shaved ice shop were walking distance. We will stay again.”

“The owners seem like very kind people and initially when I walked into the room it looked renovated and very cute! However, this place has SERIOUS mold issue. In the air vent, the ceiling light, and especially underneath the sink. It looks like the issue has not been addressed in the slightest. Like they just painted over the issues with cute decor. You can tell by how the place smells that there is a mold issue. When I saw underneath the sink I got so worried I slept with a mask on all night...

“Excellent location. Just minutes walking to the beach. Rooms are sufficiently sized. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am and includes a variety of bagels, yogurt, cereal/granola, hard boiled eggs, fruits, fruit juice and coffee. There is swimming pool with towels. The only thing to caution is that the property charges $10 per night parking in their premises. This was in the fine print and not explicitely disclosed during the booking.”

“This is our second year staying at Palmera and it was amazing just like last year! The suites are amazing and super clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. It’s centrally located (we go to Burke’s beach), close to everything, and has amenities that rival 5 star resorts! It’s quiet, safe, everything must be accessed by key card, and honestly the best.”

“Super clean and friendly staff. Don’t bring toiletries. They supply shampoo conditioner body wash lotion. You can request toothbrush and everything else you need!! 10/10 would stay again. If coming during holiday parking can be hard but everything is walking distance.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large. Bathrooms could be bigger. limited Parking and you have to park on the street up to 1/4 mile down the road. Breakfast is $20 if purchased on site and is nothing more than the free breakfast you get at an ordinary hotel. Just go eat out somewhere else. Good location. Close to Coligny Plaza.”
