โWe loved the close proximity to the beach and areas of interest. We walking distance to dining, kayaking, and boating tours of the island. You are also 25 minutes away from Savannah. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was very good. I would Highly recommended staying here if youโre visiting Tybee Island.โ
โWe checked in at the Desoto hotel and were escorted to the B & B by hotel staff. The B and B is a beautiful condo that has 3 guest rooms and a full kitchen available to guests along with 2 common balcony areas, one with a dining area and the other for sitting. There is a dining area where you are greeted by the Innkeeper Rick MacDuff who is from Scotland and wears his klan kilt. The breakfast he and his wife have prepared are all natural ingredients and mostly Scottish influence. Gluten free...
โThe property was small but very well kept , the beach area was great, do beautiful , clean and just a walk around the nice pool area and you were there. It was also walking distance to most of the areas of interest. The staff however was amazing!! They went above and beyond to make aure we had what we needed. The desk clerk that worked July 24 th and 25 th was the nicest person I have ever met! โ
โThis isn't an oceanside resort, it's a clean and affordable getaway with a pool, beach chairs for rent, and a walk right across the street to the sea. I'd come back. Free parking!โ
โClean, staff were friendly. Only negative was there was a hole in the floor tile. Was a tripping hazard since it was in the walk way going toward the sink. โ
โBeautiful setting right on a wide expanse of beach. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully equipped. Food options on site are pretty good, and many good restaurants are a short drive away. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and attentive. In all, a great place for a stress-free beach vacation. โ
