"Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and they loved this hotel. Short 5 min walk to Ahungalla Beach. ~ 15 min tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort. ~ 10 min tuk tuk ride to a sea turtle hatchery. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and my kids (age 10, 9, 7 and 5) loved the pool and watching the monkeys jump by through the trees overhead. The food was great and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

The staff was expecting us on arrival and greeted us by name, and the personal service continued until the moment we left. With only seven rooms, this is probably the most personalized service you will receive at any hotel, anywhere. The rooms are HUGE with uninterrupted views of the ocean. It's a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, a bit fiddly with the coffee machine but no complaints. I was disappointed having arrived at 8.30pm that the 'all day dining' wasn't available. There wasn't any indication of the closing time on the website for evening meal. Had I known I would have eaten on the way. So perhaps make that clear on any booking in future.

Great vacation spot close to the beach! Turtles often come right up in front of the property, and Talpe Natural Pool Beach is just a short walk away. It’s a perfect place for a family getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We truly felt at home during our stay. Highly recommended!
