In particular Udaya went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble at all. Our only negative was that we didn’t stay here longer! "Nice stay, the luxury chalet is so lovely. The staff were nice enough, breakfast was fine. There are a lot of ants however in the rooms. It also would’ve been nice to know prior to our stay that there was construction going on to build a lift. The stairs are certainly not for the faint hearted. The pool area was nice but other than that the hotel amenities are limited. "

"Srimali's Residence has plenty of potential but it's the small things the owners need to look at. On the positive side, the rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, the location is fine, ten minutes walk to the beach and a couple of minutes to the bus stop into Galle, pleasant surroundings with the occasional monkey sighting and plenty of stripy squirrels. Breakfast was OK and the family friendly. When we arrived only two of our three rooms had a towel. Safes were on the tables but not secured so...
