"I brought my staff to the island for a working retreat and this was the perfect venue! The house was beautiful—a great balance of antique and modern decor with all the amenities you would ever need. The location is definitely within a short walk of the strand or a cheap uber ride. The hostess was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. We will be back!"

"This is a beautiful historical home, located just about a half mile walk to the beach. There are many nice touches, like board games and beach towels. The beds were comfortable, and the set up of having four bunk beds worked so well for our situation. As an historic home, there is not central A/C, but every room has a window unit, and this really worked well to cool the place down. There are many dishes in the home, but they are all quite fancy, so if you have small children I suggest bringing paper plates and maybe some tupperware. There also weren't serving bows. The check out instructions says to take the trash out, but trash cans weren't accessible to us. We sent a message to ask about it, but never heard back. The master bedroom was a beautiful oasis. "

"The property was great. I would recommend it, and would definitely stay there again for our family of 5. My only observation worth mentioning is that there were a couple homeless people wandering through the neighborhood. We never felt threatened or uncomfortable, but just be aware if that is something that may bother you. Overall though, we give it 5 stars. "
