โThis place is amazing. If you like being upstate you will love it. The grounds are spectacular, there are a few beautiful ponds and a lake on the preserve. We stayed 3 days and had no reason to leave, everything you need is on the grounds. The room was great, very modern and everything was super comfortable. โ
โGreat stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. โ
โStaff was friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to please us and to accommodate our dietary needs. The house was spacious, new, high tech, modernly decorated. We would definitely return!โ
โThe views are fantastic! The onsite restaurant is very good and you can't beat eating overlooking the falls. The rooms are cozy but well appointed and very clean. The staff went above and beyond, even pointing us to use several hotel activities after we had checked out. Highly recommended.โ

โProperty location is great - right on the lake. Staff was friendly. The issue is the whole property needs to be renovated. The landscape was poorly maintained, our bathroom had a plunger wrapped in a plastic bag, curtains had missing hooks, tables were wornโฆโ
โI love hotel Wayne for its historical character, its distance to everything honesdale, and having the restaurant & bar downstairs with Paulies food directly behind it. The 2 bedroom apartment is over the wine room which is nice since itโs a private (and only 1 ) stairway. While thereโs limited hotel accommodations, this one will give you everything you need. I will always upgrade from the standard room (which Iโve stayed in - thereโs a reason for upgrading !)โ
โWonderful B&B updated with modern conveniences while maintaining some of the original parts of the home. Joh and Linda were very very nice hosts. โ
