"I was greeted warmly at the front desk and advised that I had received a room upgrade! Our room was clean and spacious with a fridge and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable too. Self-parking was easy with access to the hotel via a lift. We were centrally located in Locarno and close to the waterfront walkway which made for a pleasant evening walk. We were offered a 10% off coupon for breakfast but did not end up using it. Friendly hotel - we would definitely stay there again!"

"Property was perfect for us. We stayed in room 50 with an awe inspiring view. That was the most important feature for us. Our room was spacious and clean. With a large bed, two twin beds pushed together, very supportive and comfortable. Hotel Muralto is an older property that has been well cared for and updated. Staff are very kind, helpful and attentive. We stayed in Locarno for 2 weeks and found that Hotel Muralto to be the right balance of comfort and functionality at a very good price. The property is located within a 6 minute walk from the train/bus station so super convenient. Please note the pathways up from the train station and downtown can be a little steep and challenging for someone with mobility issues, but there are convenient bus options just steps from the hotel door. Locarno is a lovely city and ever so peaceful in the evening. We left our balcony door open for nature’s AC which is quite comfortable in April and May. We will definitely be back!"

"Our room overlooked the Lake...Room was wonderful with a great bathroom and extremely clean.Breakfast was plentiful with so many choices.Location was perfect as the Promenade was right across the street from the Hotel.Centrally located as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"The room was clean, modern and the electronic blackout shutters were appreciated. Check in and issue of electronic room keys was straightforward. The bistro downstairs was friendly and lively. It would be useful for the hotel to provide instructions on the lighting as the system was not very intuitive. The safe did not work - a small inconvenience. "

"Easy Parking right next to the hotel. Friendly staff. The free coffee and tea in reception was a bonus, as were the croissants in the morning. Very comfortable bed. "

"Property is clean, location not bad at all; although from the pictures it looks like it’s at the lake and not really. But you can get to the center in 5 minutes by bus (city bus included)and the bus stop it’s 3 minutes walk, or you can walk look at the city, takes 25 minutes to the piazza. "

"This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. Staff super friendly, helpful, and present. Lots of options for breakfast. Hotel in a quiet area, but like I said with easy transport to train station. Nice running path along the river. Fitness room had foam rollers which were amazing to loosen up muscles after long days of hiking. Would definitely stay here again!!!! Thank you!"
