"Really enjoyed our stay at the Costa del Sol Cusco! The rooms were really spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Everything felt really clean and well maintained. The staff were incredible, so helpful and welcoming! The location really can't be beat, we loved being so central. Having a home base right in the middle of everything made such an impact on how much we were able to enjoy the city, especially as we acclimated to the altitude. Highly recommend!"
"The property is clean. Staff excellent and helpful. Only complaint was breakfast - cold room and courtyard with heat lamps that were never turned on. The cups and plates, food and people all cold and uncomfortable.

"We had requested a quiet room away from elevators with an outside view for our honeymoon. The hotel had reached back out to us prior to our arrival to confirm our request would be accommodated. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that had an inside view of the lobby and was next to elevators (noisy). Moreover, we had to wait to get our room because we had arrived slightly earlier than the check-in time and were told our room was being cleaned. Our room was dirty (hair/dust on the ground) and the A/C did not work well. There is no gym or pool. The hot tub had a weird smell. The amenities are subpar. The location was good, but overall, would not recommend this hotel. "
"Stayed 4 nights at the Sonesta Hotel Cusco and overall had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and most spoke English, which was very helpful during my trip. The included breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options, and the 24-hour room service was a nice touch after long days exploring. The dinner restaurant was okay as well, though it is an additional cost.
The rooms were fairly standard/basic but clean and comfortable. I appreciated the housekeeping request card left in the room — I requested an extra washcloth and received it quickly.
A couple things could be improved. My room window faced the hallway and although the glass had privacy covering, the blinds didn’t go down far enough, so hallway light would shine into the room whenever someone walked by. Luckily I had an eye mask, but this seems like an easy fix.
I was also disappointed with the airport shuttle situation. One reason I booked this hotel was for the included shuttle service. Arrival pickup was excellent, but when departing I was told the shuttle was under maintenance and I would need to pay for a taxi myself. I understand maintenance happens, but I think the hotel should have arranged alternative transportation or covered the taxi cost since it’s advertised as an included amenity.
Overall, still a pleasant stay and about a 15-minute walk to the city center. Bring layers — warm during the day but chilly at night!"
"Torre Dorada is an excellent find for our stay at Cusco. Our group is having 6, all of us felt the same that surprisingly best accommodation we had in PERU for our 10 days trip. Clean rooms with great breakfast are what we liked much. Hotel manager Darwin is great to arrange fresh avocado, mangoes and orange juice in the breakfast. Entire staff is excellent in service. Happy to find this facility."
"Amazing place, photos don’t do it justice. It’s much more beautiful in person. The restaurant is amazing. A little off the beaten path, a very quiet stay."
