"Property was a bit out the way but the grounds were beautiful. Landacape and flowers were so pretty with the mountains in the background. 3 Alpacas/Llamas on site... wish they were more friendly but still made for great pictures. Wish there was more on site to do. We did walk out and up to the left found a Butterfly museum. It was nice to learn about Mariposas. Room was big with high celings. Wich made for a very cold night. Room did have a space heater, but needed 2 to fill the space. ...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Miski. Dante, Royer and the entire staff were accommodating and attentive and made us feel welcome to their best ability. We lucked out being the only guests during our stay, and it was like having a private villa all to ourselves. They had the cutest baby alpacas and a sweet little cat that just gave birth. If you're looking for a place to rest and relax, with an almost homestay like experience, this is a great place. Just bear in mind that it is out of the way...

"This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character. Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well. Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly. The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. "Margarita and her staff went above and beyond the week I stayed there in September of 2025. Though she is a manager, she helped with my luggage upon arrival and departure. She knew I was traveling alone and would be without people I knew for my birthday, and she went out of her way to ensure I had a wonderful birthday and week, with a small present, a chocolate treat and a personalized, colorful birthday note. She also assisted me with small things and it meant the world to me. Her staff also provided world class service, and assisted with the heating instructions, changing the language on the television, helping me unlock the door when my hands were full, extra room cleaning and more. The breakfast buffet is lovely, my room was gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the heater was excellent. Tue location is outstanding, the staff is incredible ( especially the manager Margarita, Grace, Angie, Reno, Frank and the entire breakfast / cleaning staff. Thank you, Margarita and Kantu staff for making my birthday week memorable and thanks for your world class hospitality. You all work very hard , take pride in your work and sincerely care about your guests . Thank you."

"Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel By Marriott in Cusco is a first class hotel with first class service and within walking distance to all of the central Cusco attractions. They also have a baby Alpaca that you can pet each day in the hotel courtyard! 😁 We stayed in room 462 which has a little balcony with outstanding views of the city. The king bed was so comfortable and the room had a large tv with Spanish and English channels, an in-room safe, small refrigerator, iron, espresso machine and other fabulous amenities. Clean and good AC! The hotel has an amazing bar an restaurant and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, additionally, you could order eggs to your preference (also included). They even placed a birthday cake in our room for my birthday. They will also arrange airport pickup and transfer to the hotel for approx $25. Just an outstanding hotel in an excellent location with incredible staff. Stay here if you are going to explore Cusco!"
