"We stayed for two days in this lovely place Sand in Taufers. Its pretty small place, just some bars and restaurants are available but you're so close to the mountains so it was perfect for our hiking trip. The hotel itself looks on the webpage pretty cool and totally new. We booked a superior suite (€ 460 for two nights) and honestly we were more than disappointed regarding the room. The only downside was the unexpected bill at the end of our stay, you are obliged to have have board however this does not cover the daily evening meal menu, we had to pay a rather large supplement which was a bit of a shock.
