My room was basically but very clean with great, quiet, air conditioning. They have restaurants on the property and nice amenities, especially rally for families like complimentary bike rentals, kayaks and paddle boards. The pool was nice. Everything was beachy and fun. I'd stay here again.

Check in not until 4 PM out at 11 AM...added a 20.00 resort fee and there is no time to use any of the "so called amenities". No continental breakfast just expensive mediocre food across the street at their restaurant. The room was very clean and comfortable for a very short stay.

The facility was in the best spot for vacation, the restaurants were fabulous, the hotel staff was amazing. Only downfall was occasionally a smell of mustiness, animal urine, and illicit smoking, made the whole facility stink .However I feel that allowing animals need to be kept to specific rooms , visitors smoking on the no smoking premesis need to be removed ,and more than 1 pot of coffee in the lobby would make this place PERFECT and geared towards a better review and stay . After all of this , I would still return and suggest for other travelers because these issues tend to unfortunately be everywhere that rules aren't applied.

Good location to so many restsurants and bars. Staff was so friendly, rooms were clean. Coffee and cold water in lobby. Resort fees allow you to take kayaks, paddleboards and bikes. State construction going on in parking lot when we were there made it difficult to sleep later thsn 7 AM. Clean pool and live music, food and marina across street.

Our first stay at Captain Hiram’s. It is a beautiful resort with so many amenities. The rooms are lovely and bright and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a lovely breakfast at their Bluefin Grill on the River. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The pool was wonderful. The selection of drinks and food in the lobby was great for snacking. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights and it was delicious. We took advantage of the hour of free kayaking and then we went to trivia night that evening. It was a short girls trip, but we had a blast just staying on site. Will definitely be back.
