"This hotel is not only gorgeous but comfortable and welcoming. Staff are very friendly and the decor is gorgeous. We had room H321 which overlooks the ocean and the famous “Under” restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a great selection and delicious, it was also constantly full stocked. "

"We loved the quirkiness of the building and its furnishings. There are a few worrisome bulges in the floor, but the building is old. Our bed was basically two wood framed twin beds pushed together, so it wasn't too cozy. The staff were super friendly and helpful."

"This was a bit of a mixed experience. Reception had limited opening hours so we had to call by at lunchtime (leaving work) to check in. For the first night my chalet was extremely cold with inadequate heating. I also had a mouse in the kitchen. Reception wasn't open until the next day. On informing them they were very quick to move me to another chalet. This one was a lot nicer and more spacious. It also had a good lake view. The heating in the bathroom was excellent but not quite adequate...
