Highly Recommend. this Hotel

Staff were very friendly & check-in was quick & easy.. The room was clean & quiet. The breakfast had eggs, sausage,waffles along with bananas, apples, yogurt, bagels & muffins. We would go back as it was excellent for the price.

Wonderful staff and breakfast was good. However, I didn’t like the smell of the rooms. They smelled very old and dated, also smelled as if they had been wet and closed up for a while. My room was infested with ants upon returning the 1st night. They covered my clean clothes I left out along with the floor and table next to my bed. There was no food or water left out so I’m not sure where they were coming from, but we had to pack up and move to another room. That was very inconvenient for us considering the time we arrived to the room for the night! Other than that…Overall, the stay wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed ourselves!!

My wife and I stayed there the night to go to the funeral. The next day. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable, but the building itself really needs some TLC. The AC in our room didn’t work at all, but it was OK cause it was still comfortable in the room However maintenance guys should really probably be checking the equipment out more often and the rooms really need to be cleaned a little bit better.

It's not a new property, but it's clean and the staff is very friendly. It's location is great to the historic downtown area although you need to drive a few blocks to get there. The morning breakfast on Saturday included eggs, sausage and biscuits. Good variety for a cold breakfast too. But get there early if you want a hot breakfast.

Reconsider your stay here

Check in was good. Friendly host and efficient. Then it went downhill. We could not believe the condition of this hotel compared to images online. To start with: 1) hallways dark and musty odor. 2) rooms clean but dated, constant musty smell. Always felt everything was damp. They took used towels Saturday morning. Foolishly assumed they’d clean room and replace towels. No. Had one towel that was not super wet to use. Had to beg for them to find two clean towels the next evening. 3) pool was in desperate need of a vacuum. Clearly not swimmable. We may need to burn our bathing suits!

Staff was very nice. They text you and ask if you need anything to reply to text. I texted asking for extra bedding for the pull out sofa. No one ever responded, not that big of a deal just went down to desk to ask. Tiny dead roach inside the refrigerator. A light burned out. Found someone’s else’s dirty sock in the room. So cleanliness could have been a little better. But location was convenient for us and decent price. Stay was quiet, bedding not uncomfortable.

The lock on the door was broken. There was a spider on th he bed. The last time i stay there was a problem with the shower and no shower curtain With a roll of carpet in the hallway. Someone could have a accident. I was not compensated in any way because i payed on line

DO NOT GIVE THESE PIECES OF CRAP YOUR DEBIT CARD SO THEY CAN LIE AND SAY THEY ARE NOT PUTTING A CHARGE ON IT BECAUSE THEY PUT A $120 CHARGE ON MY CARD AND IT'S NOW FROZEN THERE FOR 30 DAYS! I HAVE REPEATEDLY ASKED THEM TO SEND THE PROPER PAPERWORK TO MY BANK TO CANCEL THE CHARGES AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE BUT THEY HAVE NOT! NOT ONCE HAVE THEY DISCLOSED THE PROPER INFORMATION TO MY BANK TO CANCEL THIS CHARGE! IT HAS NOW BEEN TWO WEEKS THAT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS REMOVED FROM MY ACCOUNT! YOU ARE DEALING WITH COMPLETELY ILLITERATE PEOPLE IN THIS BUSINESS! BY NO MEANS CAN I RECOMMEND STAYING WITH THESE IDIOTS EVER TO ANYONE AT ALL! THIS WAS A TRIP FOR A FUNERAL THAT IS STILL BEING DRUG DOWN IN THE GROUND! TOTAL NIGHTMARE TO STAY HERE!
