My room was a little on the small side, if you were more than one person, but the room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect, you can walk anywhere. Free parking on site was wonderful. It’s a lovely character hotel and I recommend staying here if you have the chance.

Quaint olde inn. (Supposedly the 2nd oldest still standing in Victoria). Coffee every morning served in the lobby. Fantastic pub downstairs serving breakfast and dinner. No elevator so be prepared to climb a lot of stairs even if you are on the first floor. No AC or safe.

James Bay Inn is the second oldest hotel in Victoria, perfectly situated for exploring the local area. Given the age it is understandable there is no lift (only 3 floors), but it is well looked after and managed by staff who care. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was spotless.

Older property but very clean. Rooms are on the smaller side, so not the hotel for you if space is high in your must haves. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location.
