"If you don't want to stay in the middle of Vienna this option is worth considering. It's a stiff 5 minute walk to the tram stop, but only about 10-15 minutes to the centre when the tram comes. After a couple of tries, I found that turning left out of the hotel door gives a much less hilly walk. The room was nice, apart from a terrible smell from the sink in the bathroom, which I told them about when I checked out. I had a view of flats that were not so close as to be intrusive. "Place is close to to Vienna central railway station. We came by train from Salzburg and it was a 5 minute walk. It is also convenient to use the u bahn or metro system and trams. You can buy the 24 or 48 hour ticket. The hotel is very clean, surroundings safe and convenient by train to come to the airport. The rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast is good but is reptitive.
