"Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful about finding things to do and how to get into and out of Venice efficiently from the nearby train station. Clarissa was particularly helpful with her insights on where to eat and what to see in Venice itself. Room was large. Hotel is small any quiet and out of the way. You will need a car to stay here since nothing is within walking distance. "

"Very poor service. I made my reservation in the afternoon and called to say that I would be checking in late, after 11 p.m. They told me that was fine and that they would wait for me. I arrived at the property and there was no one there. I tried calling the property's number and a confused young receptionist answered because no one had notified him of my arrival. Even worse, the phone number belongs to another hotel. The young man kindly asked me if I could go to his hotel and he would try to sort it out, which he did. In the end, I had to leave Hotel Roma and go to Hotel Al Pino Verde. So, if you're looking for a place to stay, it's better to go to Al Pino Verde, and if you arrive at night, the young man at reception will surely help you with your stay. I was very disappointed with the experience but grateful that a young man with an exhausting work schedule was able to help me. "

"Leondoro is a lovely, wonderful, charming countryside hotel that is quaint, picturesque, cozy and quiet. It is conveniently located, just a 10 minute car ride to Mirano center and a 15 minute walk to the train station to get to Venice, Padova in about a 20 minute ride. Margaret, Jonny, Peter and all their staff are so kind, friendly and warm hearted. They treated us like family. If you like to have a cozy country side vacation, we highly recommend Leondoro. They have large grounds with plenty of space, a beautiful large pool, playground with many activities for kids including a zip line, football, badminton, ping pong,swings, sea saw, a cute pond with a duck family. Our daughter and friends enjoyed playing a lot on the grounds. We will take home great memories to last a lifetime. "
