“It was a beautiful, well-furnished, and well-kept hotel room, especially for the price. The property is lovely and there's a good restaurant. Also, the Homestead's warm springs are across the street, making it easy to access one of the area's noteworthy attractions.”

“Lovely property and full of history. Check in was wonky and check out was worse. To check in we had to go to the bar/restaurant and ask "where's check in?" The bartender checked us in, which was fine, but a bit odd. When we checked out the next morning the downstairs restaurant was closed and locked, so there was nowhere to check out. We ended up leaving the physical key in our room and hoped for the best. Going forward, the hotel should alert guests to the lack of check out, to aleviate...

“The property is ok for spending one night. It is quite noisy if all rooms are booked as the opening and closing of doors is always accompanied by electronic noise and the walls are really thin. ”

“Our stay at Moore House Inn was great! The family that runs the Inn is nothing short of amazing. They were so welcoming and although we had car issues during our stay the couple did everything they could to ensure we still enjoyed our visit! The inn was comfy and welcoming! The breakfast was good with lots of choices. We enjoyed sitting on the swing and listening to the birds and the creek and the little town of Marlinton is so welcoming. We met so many amazing people!
