"The full kitchen in the room is a genuine advantage, practical, well-equipped, and a real differentiator for longer stays. Housekeeping was consistent and reliable throughout.
The location is excellent. Walkable, with a solid mix of shops, coffee, bars, and patio seating that makes the surrounding area easy to enjoy without needing a car.
The hotel is simply overcrowded. Elevator waits were a recurring frustration, and the pool, tucked into a corner surrounded by brick walls, felt far too small and enclosed for a property with this many guests. Chairs were rarely available, making it difficult to actually use the space even when you wanted to.
Parking was only available via a valet at $45 per day, which sounds convenient, but retrieval consistently took several minutes, which created real scheduling stress on days with booked tours or time-sensitive plans.
The gym also carries a per-use fee of $8. Towels were provided for beach"
"The location is genuinely one of the property's strongest assets. The connecting bridge to the Ilikai provides easy access to shops, and the walkway to the beach. Rooms were clean and basic. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
That said, the experience had a few friction points worth noting. Ongoing construction created early morning noise disruptions, which is not what you expect from a resort stay. Parking was a significant inconvenience, on-site options were extremely limited due to construction, leaving guests to search for public parking along the marina, with an added fee of $35 when hotel parking was available.
The mandatory resort fee was another sticking point. Being charged for amenities we did not use, including the gym and pool, feels like a policy that prioritizes revenue over guest experience."
"The main issue with the bathroom we had was that the hand soap was attached to the counter in the far corner of the vanity, not near the sink at all! Otherwise good room. The AC worked really well!"

"In general it’s a okay place to stay before flight. It’s just a kind of old and needs to be updated to give a refreshing feel. Staffs are kind and helpful."
"Easy check in, all the staff is top notch, great housekeeping, various eateries on location, everybody in Hawaii is super nice, Trolley picks up out front ( recommend the Waikiki Trolley ( Pink) to start, Walmart delivery had no problems, ( as these units have full kitchens ), and so much around the hotel ..
We took Uber to, and from Airport/Hotel, all good"
