We stayed in the cottage and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cottage was excellent. Friendly owners greeted us shortly after we arrived. Took advantage of the hot tub just outside our door.

Great B&B
Tamara and Bob are great hosts at their B&B! We enjoyed chatting with them. They have a great property to explore their grounds and the nearby lake. Breakfast each morning was tasty (consisted of pastries, fruit, juice). Coffee and tea are available throughout the day. Thank you for having us and we can't wait to go back!

Iao Valley Inn is a hidden GEM! Centrally located to the north, west, and southwest coasts as well as the airport. Highly recommend staying in the cottage - full kitchen, outdoor grill, washer/dryer, hot tub private use of an enclosed gazebo for yoga/meditation or massages. The cottage is super private and on gorgeous property - felt like we were on our own private tropical retreat! We were welcomed with local fresh fruit, juice, and banana bread. Will be booking again!

We stayed in the Orchid room. Room was clean lovely and well styled. Breakfast was included which was fruit or yogurt or banana bread. The hosts were very wonderful. There is a very beautiful waterfall on the property.

Isolated, peaceful, serene, with lush greenery around. Perfect place to get away- if I could I’d live here. Nothing about it I didn’t like. If I go again I will want to stay there once again.

Iao Valley Inn paradise
Ioa Valley Inn had fantastic hospitality. This property is beautiful! Look left, mountains, look right, ocean view. Stroll along the property and see a beautiful waterfall. The set up is great. Private outdoor setting. It is also in a great location. Very secure. Stayed in the palms room. It has comfortable bed (inside and outside), pillows, and the shower is very nice. They have beach chairs and boards to use as well! Highly recommend!!

I couldn't wait to post this review of this AMAZING property. If you are looking to reset and be way from your usual Resort type vacations, this is the place to be. A Slice of Heaven is the best way I can describe it. Tamara and Bob are wonderful hosts and we plan to visit here again very soon. MAHALO Tamara and Bob!!

The owners were so kind and helpful! It was a private and quite place to unwind at the end of a busy day. They had fruit trees outside our room they pick from and bring papayas and other fruit for breakfast. They also had the sweetest doggy who greeted you when you came in and parked at the property. Very mellow and well mannered. It was amazing!

Lovely cottage in the valley!
We loved staying at the cottage! Beautiful views and a cozy stay. Everything we could have needed was there, which made it much more comfortable than a hotel. Our hosts were very welcoming and accessible. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Our stay at Iao Valley Inn was exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about the property and Tamara. The location is absolutely beautiful with a waterfall visible on the grounds. Hidden within the trees and foliage, it is peaceful and quiet. We were greeted by their sweet German Shepherd and lots of chickens. The cottage and gazebo were clean and well maintained and fully stocked with whatever you may need. Tamara was attentive and very welcoming. If you are looking for the perfect spot to stay in Maui, look no further. We will definitely be back!

This bed and breakfast is in a secluded area of the Iao Valley that is absolutely beautiful. If you aren’t in Maui just for the ocean, the location here is perfectly located in central Maui with easy driving access to the rest of the island. We did the road to Hana, the summit of Haleakala, went swimming at a beach in Wailea, and walked around town in Lahaina before going to a luau -among many other fun stops that would have been more trouble to get to if we were at a beach resort on one side of the island. Just a head’s up from our experience, make sure you have received the gate code BEFORE getting to the Iao Valley Inn. The gate is about a car’s length from the road on a steep decline. If you turn onto the driveway without the code, it’s difficult to safely reverse out of the spot.

We are so looking forward to having the COVID requirements ending for our State, as we are not allowed to have our guests quarantine at our location. The extra layer has caused us problems with sending out the gate code prior to receiving a negative covid report. We are so sorry that this was a problem for you. We do hope you will be able to visit again when in the near future

The location was perfect. It was close to the airport, stores and food places. Loved the seclusion as well, being surrounded by the valley and being able to hear the river. The cottage we stayed at was clean and had many extra aminities

We enjoyed our stay at Iao Valley Inn. This Inn provided privacy and quietness we need. Location is not far from airport and its easy to reach sight seing spot. They provide bodyboard, towel, umbrellas and chair even sunblock for beach for free. Coffe and tea/ juice 24/7. Bob and Tamara is very nice, and helpful.

The property is very beautiful and clean. The owner is nice helpful. Wonderful place to stay on the island but a little out of the way definitely have a car. I would recommend this place if you are going to Maui.

Beautiful, Peaceful Location and Relaxing Stay
We loved our stay at Iao Valley Inn! Tamara was a great hostess; very helpful, but never intruding! Our accommodations were as expected. The breakfasts in the morning were well thought out, and very generous! The view from our lanai was breath-taking! We were happy to share their little piece of heaven and would recommend family and friends to stay there. We hope to return someday!
