“Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. ”

“What a lovely place to stay. Very nice garden and people. Very pretty part of town. Room was small but delightfully decorated and lovely view of garden. Had a bit of trouble working out the shower temp but eventually got it right! ”

“This property is the worst place I have ever stayed in, I stay in a lot off air brb as I work away from home a lot. Nothing comes close to this place, absolute dump, mold all over the upstairs, rubbish still on the floor looks like the cleaner gave up years ago. We arrived at the property after waiting 3 hours to be told someone was in there who shouldn’t have been. Key code was wrong took an hour to get that. “Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. “Booked as a base for 3 nights for my daughter & I for our trip to Skomer Island to see Puffins. Couldn’t have asked for better. Beautiful situation on a rural farm. Lovely welcome. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds & everything you could need supplied. Lovely extra touches such as fresh flowers on the table & welcome pack. Thank you. We both highly recommend & would stay again if revisiting the area. ”
