Old school Walla Walla, the Marcus Whitman did not disappoint. Wife's Scallops and my Filet at The Marc were outstanding. Was nice and quiet mid-week, but a third of downtown is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. But that's why you save a bundle not fighting the mobs and the blue toothed zombies (wine drinkers) on week-ends.

I wish it specified which building you're getting when you book. This is a historic hotel, so I thought we'd be staying in the historic hotel, but they put us in the conference center wing (not historic) right across from the elevator so we hear everyone getting off the elevator and talking, and we hear the elevator chiming. They said all these rooms were recently renovated, but the toilet seat looks worn out and the facade of the bathroom vanity is broken.
