"The hotel was lovely. Just outside the old center of Lucca, a short walking distance. The breakfast was really good. The room was nice (the windows were small on our floor even though we paid for a larger room). Overall, it is worth not worrying about staying in the ZTL. I was in Lucca 25 years ago when that wasn’t an issue and had a lovely hotel in the historic center but now that it is an issue, this is a good alternative."

"Very central location. You couldn't get a better location. Room was what we needed for being out and about all day exploring lucca. Room was clean ans sufficient and the kitchen area was helpful for ice and drinks. Check in was easy but digital as we arrived at the weekend. Very pleasant stay."

"We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Residenza FillAnfi! Valentina is an exceptional host who took such great care of us from start to finish and made us feel genuinely welcome. The guest house is in a fantastic location, and we felt completely spoiled by all the thoughtful amenities and facilities provided. "Location, reception area, staff, breakfast, buildings, etc were all fantastic. Only our room (Diana side) felt a little out of date. The bathroom was great - modern fixtures, etc - but the furnishings in the sleeping area looked out of the 60's, the mattresses were very soft (double bed had two single mattresses), and there was no fridge. Our window also opened onto what looked like a private courtyard. There was AC, however, and no ambient noise at night, so we still had a great night's sleep. All in all, it's a great deal for the price."
