“Lovely hotel,food was good,staff helpful.Would definitely stay again.”

“Room 1 is extremely small, but was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There were too few staff. Service at dinner and the bar was very slow. Dinner wasn't as hot as it should have been. There was too much food on a small plate, I had to hunt under the chicken for my vegetables! Overall, it's quite expensive for food that although was delicious it wasn't hot and not served in a timely manner.”

“Two bulbs were not working so clothes unit and te a are were in the dark.The bathroom rack was red rusty where the towels were placed.Bathroom shelf was chipped all way along the edge.Needs repairs.”

“Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!”

“Spend 1 night here. Smallish room with a double bed. For me, the rooms are not sound proof. When someone next door was in the bathrooms, you could hear the water running/shower/sink. Also doors banged loudly. Cleanliness not 100%. The remote control was dirty, looks like it is never cleaned with a hygiene wipe. Same as the light switches, you could see all the grime from dirty hands. I sent a couple of messages to the hotel direct through Expedia and they never replied. I...

“Checkin process too long but it may be system operational problem not staff. No proper classification folder or etc. staff need to find pre-print papers and room card by hand (one by one). There were two guests before me, so checkin for me costs 15 mins roughly. Room spacious, WiFi fast, hot water 24h, bathroom clean. Recommended and will re-visit. Bus stops around, easy access to the city centre. Supermarket just downstairs. Super convenient.”

“Small room but perfect for what we needed for one stay following a trip to watch footie in Burnley. The lady on breakfast service was very kind and friendly and we all enjoyed the breakfast - would stay again and great we could bring the dog too”

“Food was great and bar was well kept. Bed was comfy so comfortable in fact I overslept! Such a good find, not overly pretentious just good quality, helpful staff and good food. Perfect for a business stop over. WiFi was also reliable.”

“A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing....

“All night reception was brilliant as I booked to stay after a wedding and hadn’t checked in before hand. Bed clean and comfortable, bathroom had everything needed and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The only thing that let it down was at breakfast we missed out on being offered toast and I didn’t get chance to ask for decaf tea when I was brought normal tea. Otherwise, absolutely lovely and it accommodated lots of the wedding party.”

“Nice place above a nice bar. Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks. Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town. Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.”

“5 Star luxury from start to finish. Beautiful location and parking was so easy. The property itself must of just had a refurbishment as the room was fantastic. Fellow guests were welcoming especially when chatting at the front of the building. Local people actually visit the front of the hotel and chat to guests. Didn’t make it to the pool however the bath in the room was the size of a swimming pool.”
