“Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. “Good location for walk to Poole Speedway. Plenty of parking for motorbike. Staff all helpful. Room I had was a twin. Plenty of room, clean and a good shower. Quiet as at the back of the pub. Nice spacious pub with outdoor seating area. Stayed on the first Thursday of the month which is a quiz night for the RNLI. Great charity. Although disappointed that I could not have a meal as it was full for the quiz. Breakfast set me up for the ride home. Would stay again.”

“Older property showing some wear and tear. Check in wasn’t too great, as we waited over 20 minutes with no one at the desk and were continually told they were having a busy day. While that’s okay, an option to leave our bags would have been nice.
