This place is meant for the elderly or lone travlers, but not for family due to the lack of facilities available. Beds were perfect. Dim light knobs are the best and you choose your lighting which every hoyel should have like this one. All in all if give it a 3.7 or 3.9

We loved the room. The fireplace was great! Clean rooms! You could sit outside. I will stay there next time I go to Wausau.

We had a great experience at the Rib Mountain Inn! The property was cute and felt very homey yet very clean. We stayed in the off season but I would imagine it would be a great place to stay during ski season as it felt like a cute Hallmark ski lodge. It was incredibly affordable to stay for the full weekend. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

The staff was amazing! Everyone was so nice and inviting and so helpful. Our kitchen garbage wasn't taken out before we got there so there was some smelly fruit in it. And our dish washer broke but everyone was quick to fix anything that we needed if we needed anything at all. Felt like family.

Providing our weekend sold out guests with a more hearty and fresh approach to breakfast was so much fun and we really enjoyed having happy guests. Outdoor hot tub was just what our exhausted bodies needed after a day of skiing at Granite Peak. This property is the perfect location for a ski trip to Wausau, WI. Barbara and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Best place it stay is skiing at Granite Peak Ski
I have been staying at the Rib Mountain Inn for over 4 years now when I go skiing during the winter. The staff is always terrific and the lobby and rooms are always fresh and clean.

The value for this accommodation is outstanding!! The room had two beds, a fireplace, kitchen table, full kitchen w dishwasher, patio, nice sized bathroom, walkable to rib mt, staff was amazing (like you were family). Only down side was alittle maintence could be used, but the other things far outshined the negatives.

I liked the individual keys 🔑 it feels like a bed and breakfast without the cost. Decorated really cute. They have so many fun game options in the lobby. I have never seen boysenberry or blueberry syrup for waffles. They have something for everybody 😊

Pulled in to the property but ddn't immediatly see the sign. Maybe something easily noticible from the street? Walked into the buildiing and didn't notice anything about where the front desk is. Walked to the back and then went downstairs to find front desk. Signage? Front desk person was nice enough but I specifically asked if there was information about what to do in Wausau in the room. Was told there was. There wasn't. The next morning I went downstars at 7, which was when I was told there would be coffee available, I found a kiosk full of iinformation about what to do in Wausau. The front desk area was closed. I returned at 7:30 and the front desk area was still closed. Decided to leave and find coffee and breakfast in town. Did notice that coffee was available in the room but was already preparing to leave at that point. Really like the property but step up management.

Thanks for letting us know! We have changed our hours for breakfast to start at 8AM. Sorry if you were mis- informed. We also are in a private neighborhood and don't want to over light for the the area, keeping the lighting lower. Glad you liked the Property!!!!!

Thanks for staying. Walk to Granite Peak, only a couple hundred yards to lift !. Winter is rockin.Yes... We are on the mountainside in a neighborhood.

Nice place overall. Might want to check mold/mildew around bathtub, but otherwise clean room. Customer Service attitude a bit strong; must have to deal with a lot of knotheads. AND, still had to deal with loud neighbors despite all the written rules.

Loved the room! Very quaint and northwoodsy with the fireplace and a full kitchen. Downstairs was nice with a fireplace and tables with board games you could play. Breakfast was a plus. Jacuzzi area could have been cleaned up a little bit. All in all, will stay here again, and even thinking of just make a trip up and staying here, liked it that much!! Golf course right next door too.
