“I had higher expectations of the hotel, due to the high ratings. However, when we arrived, the pool & hot tub were closed, the pillows were all lumpy, the bed was extremely firm, the shower light did not work, and the conditioner bottle was broken. At the front desk, the host verbally announced our room number and someone else’s information was displayed on the tablet. There were a variety of options on the continental breakfast but the quality was disappointing. Next time, I’ll find somewhere...

“Overall decent for the money”

“This place is very outdated. Everything is old. Mildew in bathroom. Large plastic tote in hallway with standing water from a leak. Not a good place to stay.”

“We had a fantastic stay. Marietta is a great town, and the Lafayette is very much a historic hotel. The common areas are rich with historical context and artifacts, and the two restaurants serve different purposes. The nearby area has an abundance of things to enjoy, day and night. As a historic building, this beauty and texture also come with some compromises. While the front façade, lobby, and restaurant areas are grand and elegant, the floor in our fifth-floor room had a very unavoidable...

“The place itself isn't bad. Convient location. Stores and concert venue were nearby. However, the man that checked us in was so rude. He told me my 13 year old son was an adult, and I should've booked the room for 3 adults instead of 2 adults and a child. He talked down to me as if I were a child. Everything I tried to say, he interrupted and argued with me about. I will say the other man that I spoke with upon check out was very nice.”

“Hotel was once a grand place - currently needs TLC. Not as clean as you would expect. Restaurant menu & service were not up to Blennerhassett reputation. Not sure I would stay there again.”

“At first glance, everything was great. Once we walked around in our room, me in white socks and my wife barefoot, we realized that the floor was filthy. Everything else seemed clean enough, but finding the floors that dirty was a real turn off. The staff was very kind and helpful. The free breakfast was quite good except for the totally burnt sausage links, which were ultimately replaced by sausage patties cooked properly, but not until I was leaving that area. We will consider a return visit,...

“Very charming and unique hotel. Great location.”

“Was told at check in the pool was open, although it's missing a foot of water. When my children went down to swim they were told they weren't allowed that it was 15$ per person.”

“직원도 친절하고 조식도 무료인 것을 생각하면 괜찮았습니다. 다만 청소는 썩 맘에 들지 않아요.”

“We had to have our room changed even before getting settled it had an alarming smell of heavy duty cleaner. The second room was ok. Emergency trip had to book what was available. Next time we will definitely pay more to have better accommodations”

“Staff was very friendly & helpful”

“The property was as expected for the money. The bed was terribly hard. One room had a broken lock, one room had a broken towel bar.”
