"Bharat and Ann are welcoming and attentive hosts. The property was very clean and well-decorated, with excellent views over the countryside from the guest lounge. It was about a 20 minute walk into town - though a steep hill coming back. I would definitely recommend."

"Friendly staff, quick check-in and plenty of parking. Good selection of food in the restaurant and a lovely breakfast. Took a 90 minute stroll down to Tintern Abbey via the lane opposite the Sloop and saw lots of other walking routes along the way. Live music on the Saturday we stayed and well supported by friendly locals."

"Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking. 3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine. The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again. The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood."

"Stayed 1 night at the Royal Hotel. Very convenient location just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Ross on Wye. Lovely hotel with easy check in. We had a spacious double room which was clean and had all the amenities you needed. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Nice bar area and the food is very good( superb breakfast) Highly recommend this hotel. "
