"Really close to bus stops and rail service. Located in the middle of a pedestrian area next to a shopping center and a venue, which means it can get a bit noisy at night (especially weekends). First time staying in a hostel, can't beat the price."

It seems like a "family friendly" place, and until late, children were noisily running up and down the hall. The room was clean, but basic. "Beautiful room with a lot of space, high ceilings, sumptuous decor and a touch of local pride. I had a room with a great view, a luxury bathroom and all the trimmings. A huge, comfy bed let me get a good night's sleep. Staff at reception and at breakfast were welcoming, friendly and efficient.
I also really like that I can so easily walk to this hotel from the train station.
I've stayed here on several occasions and it's been consistently excellent. I've stayed in several other hotels in Dundee and think the Malmaison is the best option."
