“The hotel and staff were fantastic but the noise from drunk people using the drinking area on top of the room and opposite was not nice as woken with shouting/swearing late at night driving off in there loud exhaust car parked under our room window (not an official space either). Air con would be useful. Restaurant was lovely.”

This place has a spiritual vibe which is very calming and relaxing, Staff were very friendly and food was great loved the vintage type radio in the room gave a lovely relaxed feel. Hotel was spotless and if you lucky you may see one of the ghosts that are said to roam this old hotel. Highly recommended will stay again! “Very nice hotel which is conveniently located about 7 miles south of Bristol. We stayed in a lovely triple room and there really was ample space for us which is a real bonus as it's not always the case. Plenty of free parking onsite which is also a plus and was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel as most Bristol hotels do not have this. There was a breakfast hamper provided which was handy if a little bit basic. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive.
