Very helpful host. Good location. A short bike path for walking. Comfortable beds and room. Be prepared for dogs who bark or whine when left in their pet friendly rooms when their owners go out. Not a fan of the no BYOB rule. Stairs were strep to the upstairs rooms. Overall, a great weekend stay.

We loved our stay in Deerfield Valley Inn. One of the best inns in Southern Vermont that we stayed in. The room was spacious, cozy, clean and elegantly decorated with a fireplace. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The inn was right in the middle of the town so everything was walking distance. Definitely going back and highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Oz, Deerfield's host and owner, is simply 'ozsome.' Simply put. Feels like a second home away from home. Classic Vermont. Romantic fireplaces. And a very welcoming and friendly no-nonsense vibe throughout. Great value and convenience realized whenever in the Dover and Mt. Snow environs. Highly recommend this classic inn.

The inn was pet friendly and the service excellent! My dog was welcomed and the owner actually dog sit for us twice so we could go to dinner! Hr gave us options for pet friendly restaurants in the area as well. Highly recommend if you're traveling with your fur baby!
