"If you’re looking for an affordable place where you can get a good night’s rest, this hotel does the job.
The room is carpeted, and the bed is soft. It’s generally quiet at night, so it’s easy to sleep well. Basic amenities are all there—hot water, a fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave—and everything works fine.
The location is also very convenient. Walmart and Costco are nearby, and it’s just a few minutes’ drive from West Edmonton Mall and not far from the World of Science. So getting around is easy.
There’s also a small pool and a hot tub-it’s not always hot though. For kids, there’s a waterslide, which they’ll probably enjoy quite a bit.
That said, the furniture and facilities are clearly a bit dated—you can tell right away. Also, the air conditioner has a small gap around it, so it can let in some cold air. It was a bit noticeable, but once I blocked it with a towel, it wasn’t really an issue anymore.
I didn’t have much interaction with the staff, so I can’t really comment on the service. I also didn’t really try the breakfast.
Still, if you’re mainly after good value and a quiet place to sleep, I’d probably consider staying here again next time."
