Top Western Andalusia Hotel Reviews

Palacio Solecio, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World

Palacio Solecio, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World

10/10 Excellent
"This was a wonderful gem of a hotel in the heart of Malaga. The property was beautiful, the staff extremely helpful and within walking distance of many of the main attractions. There was plenty of closest/drawer space in the room (something we didn't find the other hotels we stayed at during our trip). The only fault we found with the hotel was the bed was hard a rock. We only ate lunch at the rooftop bar, which was tasty. We did not eat in the main restaurant (however we were told by others it was great). We also ended up getting wonderful breakfasts at local cafes (roughly 10-15 Euros total for two people) instead of eating at the buffet in the hotel. NOTE: If you are traveling with your own car talk with the hotel will in advance of your stay to reserve one of their spaces in a local garage, it will be significantly cheaper."

Hotel América Sevilla

Hotel América Sevilla

8/10 Good
"Hotel América Sevilla is very centrally located, and that is definitely its strongest point. The location is extremely convenient. There is a Corte Inglés right across the street, La Campana, the well-known pastry shop, is very close by, and many of the main stores and shopping streets in central Seville are just a short walk away. From a location and convenience point of view, it is excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional, which made the stay more pleasant. The room, however, was more average for us. It was perfectly fine and comfortable enough, but it did not feel particularly complete or well equipped. For example, there was no iron or ironing board in the room, which is something we really appreciate having when traveling. When we needed to iron at night, I called the front desk to ask where we could find one. I was told that we would have to wait until the morning because the staff member who brings the irons had already left. Overall, the bedroom just felt a little basic and not quite as polished as we expected. So, for us, the hotel’s biggest advantage is unquestionably the location. If being in the center of Seville and having everything within walking distance is your priority, it is very convenient. The room itself was okay, but it was not the highlight of our stay."

"really beautiful little oasis off the beaten path but just a short walk to the beach; we arrived quite a bit earlier than anticipated, and they invited us to enjoy breakfast while we waited for our room; wish we had been staying longer than just the one night"
