"I appreciated my stay at this hotel. Two things I was disappointed with is that the tv reception was not good on any of the nights I was there, but on nights 2 and 3 it may have been due to the storm. The other thing was that there wasn’t a microwave in the room, which is inconvenient. I requested one on my last night and it was provided to me. I don’t know why some hotels have taken microwaves out of the rooms, but it’s a deal breaker for me. Other than those two things, I enjoyed my stay."

"This was our first time visiting Winston-Salem and North Carolina in general, and we had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though we checked in at 3 AM. You wouldn’t have even guessed we were arriving so late with how pleasant and accommodating they were! The first thing you notice when walking into the lobby is how nice and fresh it smells. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. Our room was nice and cozy, and both the rooms and hallways were spotless. Since it was raining during our stay, I also noticed how attentive the housekeeping staff was about keeping the lobby floors clean despite everyone coming in and out from the rain. The hotel also has a really nice pool, which unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy because of the weather. Another thing I appreciated was the parking lot. It was well-lit and designated for hotel guests, which made us feel comfortable leaving our vehicles overnight. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The cleanliness, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere really stood out to us. I will definitely be returning the next time I visit Winston-Salem!"

"This hotel was ok. Our room was clean and decorated nice. No odor. We had a portable ac unit in the room, which made the room feel damp and floor/carpet dingy. Our TV had roku and about 7 am the TV went out and had no network until right before checkout at 11. Don't know if picture represented on website reflected room we were in. 3.5 out of 5 stars."

"Bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that the bathroom door would not latch, leaving us to place a nearby luggage rack against it to close completely. I imagine that housekeeping would never be aware of such a problem, so we reported it upon departing. Otherwise, this is a location convenient to downtown Charlotte, and we'd consider it on future visits."

"We have stayed here several times and the room is always very clean. The check-in wait does takes a few minutes but of course the cookies are well with the wait. The staff is always kind."
