"The Brooks Street Motor Inn was good value for the money. The property is definitely dated, and could use a face-lift. However, the towels were clean and soft, as were the sheets. It is conveniently located near many amenities along Brooks Street, and the staff were excellent. Both of the nights we stayed, the property was quiet, and we slept well."

"Our room had lovely artwork and was clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful in replenishing breakfast items that ran out or fixing our TV. They do not come and straighten or clean your room every day. The room overall was well maintained in the bathroom had been remodeled. Our heater made a horrible noise like something was flipping around inside it. We ended up buying earplugs for that reason. But overall the place was a great value."

"Our second stay at the Gibbons Mamsion - returned because we loved the quaint ambiance. This time the smell of bleach was so strong it gave headaches..we opened the window and turned on the exhaust fan which helped, but not sure a return visit is in our future plans."
