It was New Year’s, the door lock systems would not respond to our keys. We had to be let in our room by the staff. None of us could leave the room all at once because we couldn’t get back in on our own. The staff was really nice and tried to help in anyway they could. Breakfast was great.

Most Hampton Inn are very nice but this one was a little disappointing. The carpet was coming apart and the wood was falling off the furniture. It really could use a makeover. The breakfast was subpar. The last day they made scrambled eggs which is what I was looking for too but they were runny. The oatmeal was watered down and the red potatoes were dry.

Customer service was good, breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean. There is some wear and tear in the rooms and other parts of the building like parts of counters in rooms peeling and so on. Good enough to sleep and centrally located, but it needs to be remodeled or fixed. Probably would not stay there with the family again, but would if I was solo traveling.

Handicap accessible is not accessible. All bottles in shower are too high to reach. Both rooms 312 and 202 were in need of updates. Countertops cracked facing coming off cabinets with chips everywhere. No usb ports anywhere. Beds still way too high for handicap folks to get into. Will not stay there ever again. Rooms smelled like smoke despite being non smoking.

We traveled to Wichita Falls to see Midwest State play football on a Sat nite. Our son is a coach. Location was convienent to the stadium. We did not eat breakfast. It does end before 10am. Checkout was an hr later than usual. That was a plus even when not using. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We will stay there again upon visiting Wichi Falls again.

I would give this a 4 star rating overall. For a Hampton it is slightly below average but overall a nice stay with super friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast, and even some free beer and wine for a few hours in the evening leading up to a football game. Very quiet rooms with very comfortable beds as you would expect from a Hampton. The only negative would be a slightly dated facility, but overall still a very nice stay.
