Staff was nice. Home page lists dining, maybe nice for breakfast. Sign on door stating no breakfast but they would be happy to order you something local. Ceiling above the bathtub looked as if it had a previous leak and been painted over but poor job, The paint trim was poorly done. Outdoor ice machine was out of order, sign said if you need ice come to the office, Did not see any type of vending machines. There is a lack of parking near your room. It's a decent inexpensive place to stay for a short period of time.

One of the scuzziest hotels I've ever seen. Not sure how to reconcile that with other positive reviews and photos. But I can definitely echo the other negative reviews - the place needs a deep clean and complete overhaul. It does have a good location, staff was helpful, and it was affordable. But dirty linens, sticky floors, unclean walls and tub, no hot water, etc. cancels out any upside.

A nice stay for the price. The pool is small but clean and a great amenity to have during our stay. Clean rooms, but hot water was inconsistent in the shower. Overall a good stay. We would stay here again.

Parking was easy, staff were kind, room was not cleaned thoroughly (food on the floor, smudges on mirror, stains on bedspread, stray hair on bath towel). While the owners are clearly trying to upgrade the place (new marble countertops/shower walls, new carpeting) there was much left to be desired as mid-range hotel rooms go.

The room had a musty smell. We had to ask to switch rooms. We switched, and the smell was even worse in that room. We got air freshener from the front desk. Everything just seemed old. Pool was dirty and very small. The hotel is in good distance to Busch gardens and water country. Very close to colonial Williamsburg. The place kind of skeeved me. I would not stay again

Our room definitely needed to be swept and needed a good wipe down includingthe microwave. AC was not adjustable. Pillows were super small and super soft. Used the timer light in the bathroom because the light switch has a loose connection. Bed left us waking up with back pain. Staff was nice though and the price was decent.
