The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room was fabulous with a queen size bed as well as bunk beds for the children. The dining room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean with wonderful views of the lake. Would 100% stay here again. "

"The hotel was beautiful and all the wonderful festive decorations made it feel very special. Bar staff were wonderful. I loved sipping my gin by the warm crackling fire place. "We had a lovely two-night stay. The house is very nice, our room was warm, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The location was excellent for Bowness shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, plus Lake Windermere too, with a 10-minute walk. We would definitely stay here again."
