First time at the white lodge, we stayed in room 3 lovely spacious room , the bed was so comfy the room very clean, even had a sofa in , for the price was excellent, only stayed 1 night but would book again , very close to the shops , plenty of walking done , very pleased with our stay .

Arrived at the property and found ample space to park the car. We were greeted by Jenny the owner and she gave us the keys to our room explaining which key was for the propertys front door and which was our room door key. We found our room to be well presented and clean and the room had lovely view of Windermere being on the top floor. The Lodge was within walking distance for all the amenities like shops restaurants etc. Overall our stay was great and we would recommend the property for anybody wanting a shortbreak in the Lakes

Avoid room no. 6. Very small attic room with no hanging or drawer space for clothes, had to live out of suitcase. Shower trap blocked, had to switch shower off in the middle of washing as tray would fill up then start again. £300 for 3 nights very poor value, would not stay there again sorry

Brilliant location 10 min walk to pier pubs shops restaurants on the way down , check in easy and quick staff very friendly we only had the basic double which would have been fine for one night as it was basically an ensuite bedroom nowhere to unpack or hang clothes still great value for money but nxt time will upgrade to larger room if staying more than one night
