"We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience "
"The property was in a nice quiet residential space but just minutes walking to shops, restaurants, etc. It was really perfect for what we were looking for."

"My opinion, this was a gem to find for a couple of days in Windsor. It's down the hill from the castle, so less noise and tour buses. I tend to like the quiet places where I can take a morning walk. If you are more of a fan of pubs, this hotel is a block away from 3 good pubs that are easily walkable.
The staff was very attentive. I had help with my bags all the way to the room, help with umbrellas, directions, and even taking a river cruise.
The breakfast was surprisingly good, and there was a self-service Espresso machine to make individual americanos or frothy cappuccinos. Booking with Expedia gave me a decent price for breakfast included. The view from the dining room overlooks the river and was tranquil in the morning.
Overall, a very relaxing place. My wife and I used it for a couple of nights to adjust to the jet lag and relax before spending 11 days in Scotland and Ireland. "
"View amazing from castle view upgraded room! You could not get better, 2 windows directly opposite the castle on the first floor!
Also a superb silent effective fan kept rhe room cool at night."
"Exceeded my expectations, beautiful house and room (Harry) clean, bright, and spacious with very pretty furniture. The bed was super comfortable, slept wonderfully. The street is busy, with cars and people using it all night, nothing loud, just enough background noise to put you to sleep. The other guests were very quiet, only heard a family coming in at 9 and another one leaving at 7:30. Super location, 10 minutes walk from the castle and with a parking lot 50 yards away. Another plus is the Co-op corner store right across the street. I loved it and will definitely use it if I come to Windsor again."
"Where do I start
The property was described as a studio. It stated that everyone in my party would be undestrurbed in the accomodation.
This is untrue and breaches the trades description legislation
The property has a shared kitchen with no privacy in it. The only TV is in the kitchen and so relaxing at the end of the day before bed by watching TV was not really possible
My food had to be stored insecurely
The access to the room I booked was up very steep steps with a low ceiling
This was also not known before booking
Whilst the access is ok for a residential property it almost certainly does not meet the legislative requirements for a shared room let (multiple occupation). I banged my head several times
In the case of a fire, escape would be severely restricted. There was no fire escape plans or smoke alarms on the top floor, breaching further legislation
Parking nearby was impossible
The low height in the shower also made me bang my head
On arrival, it was almost impossible to get the key because the alley is too dark. A light sensor is required not a timer.
The room was not ready with dirty sheets and towels
There were no internet instructions and as a result I missed an important meeting as I got them too late
The phone number provided was incorrect
The shower overflows creating effectively a pond that I had to mop up every morning
The owner rudely suggested I cancel the booking and go to the Travel Lodge saying I got a good deal"
