“Great lakeside retreat for those that are not hung up on amenities. It was clean and quaint. Easy going, friendly staff made our two days very enjoyable. ”

“Nestled in the heart of downtown Peterborough, this place is decent for what you're paying for. The rooms we stayed in (king bed w/ jaccuzi) was awkwardly laid out, but aside from tearing the building down what can you do. The room was clean, although some lamps weren't working. Breakfast was kind of a joke (cereal, fruit, or bread items) but the staff were great and helpful, parking wasn't overly difficult for a downtown hotel with no dedicated garage, and the shops/restaurants are all within...

“It was empty when we arrived, their site said they had a restaurant with amazing food however it was closed so we had to drive to find dinner and breakfast the next day. It’s a very old and not so well cared for lodge with very small rooms.”

“Beautiful property right by Sturgeon Lake. Nicely appointed rooms with robes, slippers and corner jacuzzi tub. Very clean. Food and service was excellent. Very quiet too. Views of the lake from our room, dining room and patio. There’s also a beach but didn’t try it out this time. Playing 9 holes of golf on their course. I would stay here again.”
