Our main purpose was to visit Eisenach, but hotel there were expensive. This is about 15 minutes outside the city, an easy drive and much more reasonable.

Great breakfast buffet. Nice bar. Excellent spa facilities with indoor pool, 50°/70°/80°/90°C sauna, Serail room, and massage. No A/C can lead to very hot room temperatures on the top floor on a hot summer day. Insufficient parking when hotel is sold out. No obvious option for overflow parking.
