“We stayed for just one night and had no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and we left feeling well-rested. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly functional—so it didn’t affect our stay at all. “We were so impressed with the standard of service we received - thanks to all the staff! We requested an early check in so that we could get changed in time for going to a wedding nearby, and nothing was a problem. The welcome we received each time we returned to the hotel was warm and genuine. The breakfast was delicious too. Again, it was no problem at all when we requested some vegan items. Nothing and no one could have been better!”

“The checking in was brilliant, we arrived in the morning and they gave us our key early as we were not going to be needing our room until later as we were attending a wedding in a nearby village. Everything was as you would expect however the bed was not!! They had put a king size mattress on a double bed. Unbeknown to me I turned over while I was asleep and fell out hurting myself!! The mattress was not supported by anything under it and it was overlapping my side of the bed by about 9...

“This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
