“From the time we tried to check-in the woman that greeted us was aggressive and told us to wait in the waiting lounge. Then we could check-in Declan told us that we needed to pay for our accommodation but when I told that I had paid he took our documents and did not return them. We had a two stay and consequently left without documents. On contacting the hotel we were told the only wat to retrieve our was to send a self-envelope and they would send them to us. That wasn't suitable in the frame...

“Large bungalow style room with full disability access and wet room. Stylish. Comfy beds. Check in lady was friendly. Room was left open when we arrived but no electricity so had to go find someone. Bathroom bin had not been emptied but otherwise clean. Struggled to find someone serve us behind the bars. Breakfast was a little anaemic but good quality and tasty. Plenty of parking near the room Would stay again.”

“The key card wasn't working and made my night stay there so bad. I was holding my 3.5 years ald sleeping child for nearly 30 minutes and waiting them to get the room door open. After a long trip and being tired”

“This is a pleasant and convenient hotel that I would definitely stay at again.”

“I stay around 10 times a year. A 5 star welcome, 5 star food, 5 star service and a 5 star room. A unique old hotel with a modern, clean, tidy fresh feel. The food is amazing, locals travel here for the food. Highly recammend!”

“Nice modern apartment. Conveniently located. Reasonable price. Had read reviews about it being noisy with the rooms being close to local pubs, however, we found it to be very quiet during our stay. Overall excellent!”

“The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the room needed some TLC. The showerhead sprayed water in all directions, the toilet did not flush very well, and the bedsheets could have been cleaner, as there were marks that looked like possible oil stains. The bathroom could also do with a new blind, as the existing one had yellow staining. The room itself was comfortable, but unfortunately, the sash windows were left closed but unlocked which we did not discover until the...

“Good hotel on lake spa and swimming pool”

“My experience at Village Hotel Leeds South was highly unsatisfactory. There was a noticeable smell of drugs throughout the corridor, particularly near the entrance, which was both unpleasant and concerning. The situation was compounded by a strong odour coming through the ventilation system that smelled like sewage or toilet waste. The lifts were not functioning during my stay, creating additional inconvenience. Furthermore, building or maintenance work taking place outside the hotel produced...
