Great location. Direct access from Yamagata station and bus terminal. The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is the best in that area, must try. Room is spacious, quiet and comfortable.

I just stayed here one night as part of a longer journey, but the hotel was beautiful. Clean, comfortable, quie. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and it’s connected to the train station for ease of travel and options for dining.

Perfect for traveling in the area. Right in the train station, and you can’t even hear any noise. We had a city view room, and the view was amazing of the mountains in the background. Will stay here again for sure.

As the other hotels operate by JR, the service is awesome. The buffet breakfast not only provide traditional Japanese breakfast and western breakfast, but also with the meal made by the local ingredients in Yamagata. It’s quite impressive.
