“This is a great property to stay at if you are spending a couple of nights. Kitchen was great, Cooked a couple of simple meals. Couple of negatives., the steep stairs and the laundry dryer's air filter was awfully dirty. I don't just mean the lint was not removed. The mesh in the filter is black from dirt and should be was out with soap and water to make it look clean. But overall we would recommend to others.”

“The 1872 Inn was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very quiet. A staff member insisted on carrying my heavy bag for me down the stairs, as well as replenishing our bottled water as often as needed. The breakfast offered many choices of hot and cold food, and parking was more than ample.”

“We just returned from our trip to West Yellowstone. This is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. It is clean, safe, and within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. But, do read the property description. There is no dishwasher and there is no air conditioner. 10 months out of the year having no AC is probably not an issue, but Montana does get warm in July and Aug. We had difficulty getting the room cool enough to sleep. ”

“Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Front desk staff was super nice. Gave us a map of the area for late night dining. Coffee bar was set up early the next morning and a wide variety of flavors. Would stay again!”

“Everything is good except reception’s radish. I wonder why I should go to wolf inn and check in on this good facility.”

“Property was next to a garage and abandoned boarded up restaurant. A converted old bus was right next to the building with people living in it. It was not the best part of town. The building itself was nice and well kept. The road to the property was dirt and the parking lot same which was muddy. ”

“I liked how clean it was as well as the fact that an icebox was provided, but the pots and pans in the kitchen were all very old and run down, some of them even had massive scratches in the Teflon coating, making it toxic and we weren't able to cook on them. ”

“The self-checkout at the gift shop was difficult to use. * It would be great if the laundry machines accepted credit card payments. * Having to exchange money for coins just to use the laundry machines is quite inconvenient these days. * There was nowhere to hang towels in the room, so I would appreciate it if that could be improved.”
